The terms on which Old Art Studio presents its work, prepares estimates, and undertakes commissions and restorations.

Intellectual property
All photographs, designs, models, and text on this site are the property of Old Art Studio unless otherwise noted. They may not be reproduced or used commercially without written permission. Original models and moulds created by the studio remain the studio’s property unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Estimates & commissions
Estimates given by telephone, email, or through this site are preliminary and non-binding. Every commission is confirmed by a written agreement describing the scope of work, materials, schedule, deposit, and payment terms. Work begins on receipt of the agreed deposit.
Materials & craftsmanship
All work is made by hand from traditional materials. Minor variations in tone, texture, and detail are characteristic of hand craftsmanship and are not defects. Restoration work is carried out to match existing fabric as closely as the condition of the original allows.
Schedules & site conditions
Timelines depend on the scale of the work, curing times, and site readiness. The studio is not responsible for delays caused by site conditions, other trades, or circumstances beyond its control; any changes to schedule are communicated promptly.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the studio’s liability in connection with any commission is limited to the price of the work agreed in writing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States.
